"Tsui-satsu" is a year-long, speculative digital publishing project in collaboration with photographer Ryudai Takano (鷹野隆大). Presented in a monthly digital zine format, this series draws inspiration from the tradition of serial publications (rensai 連載) in Japanese photography magazines like Camera Mainichi and Asahi Camera. These serials were known for featuring newly shot photography, emphasizing freshness and immediacy.

The project explores the motif of shadow, a recurring element in Takano’s work, allowing for an open-ended exploration of themes and formats. "Tsui-satsu," a term crafted for this project, evokes the concept of photographs captured spontaneously, aligning with the project's spirit of experimentation and immediacy.
